RT(RTGen)

RT

is a generative drawing project started several month ago that i began to play with again. RT is a script coded in the Haxe language that was first intended to draw simple force-directed graphs for interface/GUI purpose. I finally wrote a simple particle system on top of it. RT is doing pretty much the same thing always. Spawning particles and adding layers (well normally…) but i love the shapes you can create with it. Of course, RT is not complicate at all and what i mostly do with it is permutations, with simple rule sets.

RTGen

is a collection of graphics created by RT, without animation, only snapshots of those. I grab each time a new output to fill RTGen, if i like it. RTGen is RT’s states database, representing different shapes, forms, sometime ecloding, sometime flowers, sometime cell-shaped…
It’s graphically a very simple project, very humble. But sometime ’simple’ can be beautiful. (For this at least i think John Maeda will agree :-)>. Even if i wasn’t looking for simplicity while coding it).

The RT Page (contains some animations, not all of different RTs).
