sysexListen As i was looking at the mxj object for max-msp, i wrote a simple example using mml library (coremidi for java on os x) with java, mainly for testing sysex implementation (since i worked recently ‘again’ with the CoreMidi C API).

Unitor Family Driver (MT4, ..ect..) for Intel Macs

Filed under: audio — thelych @ 12:24 pm

The first time i tried to use my old MT4 on my IntelMac i discovered there were no official drivers released. Pretty bad news for all of us who bought one of those eMagic products, officially discontinued…

After i searched lots of forum in the subject, i found you needed Logic or Logic Express in order to get the Installers… Well, it’s a bad habit to do those kind of things and to leave your customers behind… Even if you already use Logic…. You feel a kind of pressure

I use Logic now, i was using until then a kind of hacked driver from Logic Express, but now i use the Logic Pro : here is the extracted Universal driver for the Unitor family (Intel Macs ready ! thx a lot apple !).

The installation-requirements script was disabled in order to make the installer functional without running the all Logic package. Hope it will help anybody that does not have Logic but still needs its Unitor-family-Midi-device to work with… another pleasant software (like MaxMsp, or Supercollider for example).
